Robbie Williams Teases Future Take That Reunion: “I’m Sure We Will Ride Again”
Robbie Williams has hinted that a future reunion with Take That could be on the cards, saying he is “sure” he will perform with the group again at some point.
Williams was part of the original Take That line-up alongside Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange before leaving the band in 1995. He later went on to achieve massive success as a solo artist. The singer briefly reunited with the group in 2010 for the Progress album and accompanying tour, and later joined Barlow, Owen and Donald on stage in 2018.
Speaking recently on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Williams ruled out making a guest appearance on Take That’s upcoming 2026 The Circus Live tour, which will recreate the band’s record-breaking 2009 run of shows. Despite this, he spoke warmly about the original production.
“It’s one of the best, one of the best shows ever,” Williams said of the tour.
He recalled first seeing the show when Gary Barlow played him a recording of it at his home in Los Angeles, admitting the experience left a lasting impression.
“Gaz came round to the house in Los Angeles and he had a copy of the show and he played it for me, and I just stood — literally stood, didn’t sit — and watched it spellbound,” he said, adding that the performance made him want to be “back in” the band.
While no reunion plans have been confirmed, Williams’ comments suggest that another collaboration with Take That remains a real possibility in the future.
