Pro-shot footage of AC/DC’s set-opening performance of “If You Want Blood (You Got It)” from their Power Up tour date at Vajnory Airport in Bratislava, Slovakia, has surfaced online. The footage captures guitarist Angus Young and lead vocalist Brian Johnson rocking out before a crowd reportedly exceeding 100,000. They are joined on stage by rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney.
Notably, the Bratislava set list was trimmed by three songs compared to the tour’s opening night set at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The tracks “Givin’ The Dog A Bone,” “Dog Eat Dog,” and “Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be” have been removed from the lineup since then.
With just six dates remaining on the tour, AC/DC will next perform at Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, Germany, on Saturday night, and will wrap up at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, on August 17. Additional tour dates outside of Europe have not yet been announced. Full dates are listed below.
In May, AC/DC revealed a limited edition reissue of their original Australian editions of High Voltage and T.N.T.. These albums were available at pop-up dive bars coinciding with their shows in Seville, Munich, London, and Paris. A final chance to purchase the reissues will be available at the store opening in Paris on August 12, located at Galerie Au Roi, 73-75 Rue De La Fontaine Au Roi, ahead of their Paris Hippodrome show on August 13.
