I decided to put this project together because reproductive rights are an important issue for me, and I know that many of my peers feel similarly.

In June of 2021, my wife and I discovered that she had unexpectedly become pregnant. It was our choice (ultimately her choice) to proceed with the pregnancy.

That choice was powerful, for both of us, and it was our freedom to make that choice that allowed us to feel confident in our decision.

Since then, I have never regretted my decision to become a father. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. But it hasn’t been easy. I have reached levels of mental and physical exhaustion that I did not know I was capable of reaching.

However, even at the hardest moments, when every part of my body felt like it was ready to collapse, I was given strength from knowing that I had chosen this path for myself - I had decided on my own terms that I was ready and willing to shoulder the burden of this ultimate responsibility.

This experience has only served to further strengthen my long-held belief that the decision to have a child (or not) is sacred and deeply personal and that no form of government should have any amount of influence over that choice.

Please join me in the fight to ensure that every birthing person in this country has the inviolable right to choose IF, WHEN, & WITH WHOM they bring a child into this world.
