Skrillex Drops Another Surprise Album
Skrillex has once again upended release expectations, unveiling a surprise new album titled Soma. The 13-track project is available now and features contributions from artists including Tracey, Blawan, RHR, and others, continuing his recent streak of rapid-fire, unpredictable releases.
SOMA also folds in several standalone tracks that surfaced over the past months, including March’s collaboration with Young Miko, “Duro.” The album arrives in the wake of a prolific creative stretch for Skrillex, who has been steadily releasing material following his 2025 album Fck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!! <3*, along with two EPs, Kora and Hit Me Where It Hurts X. He has also teamed up with Xaviersobased and Dylan Brady on the track “Party at My Place,” further underscoring his genre-spanning collaborative run.
Beyond the studio, Skrillex is also set to take over Primavera Sound’s Cupra Pulse stage with a curated programming slot running from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, June 6. For those not in Spain, his Friday night set will be available via the Primavera Sound 2026 livestream, alongside performances from acts including The Cure, The xx, Oklou, and others across the weekend.
